Brewing Instructions:
Cold-brew:
Bring water temperature up so it's just warm to the touch, cut up one tablespoon of pine needles with scissors into smaller pieces. You may mash needles if you want to release more oils for a stronger flavor. Allow the brew to steep for 24 hours ( you can make it as a sun tea too. This milder temperature brew method preserves higher vitamin concentrations. Optional: add honey, lemon, and ice when serving strain and enjoy!
Steeped Hot Brew:
Bring water to a boil and take off the stove. Cut up one tablespoon of pine needles with scissors into smaller pieces. You may mash needles if you want to release more oils for a stronger flavor. Allow the brew to steep for 5 minutes minimum or longer for a stronger flavored tea. Optional: Add honey and lemon for a brighter flavor strain and enjoy!
